This needs to be a close friend who will ensure your day is perfect. Her duties include: Organising the hen nightLooking after any money that might be needed on the dayHelping the bride with her wedding dressKeeping the bride relaxed and happyLooking after the young bridesmaids / flower girlsArranging the brides veil before she makes her entranceHolding the bouquet and your vows during the wedding ceremony.
Best Man...
The groom needs to find someone reliable and reasonably sensible.
They will be expected to:
Arrange the stag night and look after the groom Make sure the groom arrives at the ceremony on timeEnsure the ushers know what to doLook after the wedding ringsMake announcements at the wedding reception and direct guestsMake a best man's speech and read out messagesOrganise transport for the newlyweds after the wedding receptionReturn all hired outfits
Ushers...
The groom can ask any number of male friends or family members to help out on the day.
Tasks include:
Hand service sheets to the guests at the wedding ceremony and show them to their seatsLook after the bride's mother and the groom's parentsHelp the best man in his duties
